Bradley Wiggins overtook Sir Steve Redgrave as Great Britain's most decorated Olympian of all time yesterday.
Today, Sir Chris Hoy has the chance to equal Redgrave's tally of five gold medals when he competes in the men's team sprint cycling event.
Here, Sports Mole has complied a list of all the must-watch events taking place on day six of London 2012.
11am - Equestrian: Team dressage day one
Hiroshi Hoketsu, who is 71 years old, will be competing for Japan at Greenwich Park today. Hoketsu's first Olympic appearance came in the 1964 Tokyo Games.
12pm - Murray in quarter-final action at Wimbledon
British number one Andy Murray is first up on Court One at SW19. He faces Spain's Nicolas Almagro in the last eight.
The 25-year-old Scot is then scheduled to return to court late in the evening to begin his bid for mixed-doubles glory, alongside Laura Robson.
2:12pm - Women's kayak semi-finals/final
Team GB slalom canoeist Lizzie Neave booked her place in the semi-finals with the second-fastest time during the heats. If she can reproduce that performance she is almost certain to progress to the final, which begins at 3.57pm.
3pm - Shooting: Men's double trap final
Team GB - 2000 Olympic champion Richard Faulds and the 6ft 6in Peter Wilson - are favourites for gold in this event.
5.59pm - Cycling team sprint finals
Chris Hoy and Victoria Pendleton should take centre stage in the men's and women's team sprint finals at the velodrome this evening.
Despite being rated as third favourites in both events, GB must first come through qualifying, which begins at 4pm.
The women's final then takes place at 5.59pm, before the men battle for gold at 6.15pm.
Britain's men are favourites for gold in the team pursuit, for which qualifying begins at 4:42pm.
6pm - Fencing: Women's team foil medal matches
The bronze medal match will begin at 6pm before the final at 7.15pm.
If you want to catch a glimpse of Great Britain's trio of Anna Bentley, Natalia Sheppard and Sophie Troiano then you would be advised to tune in at around 9am for their round-of-16 match with Egypt.
Britain have been tipped to overcome the challenge of the African nation, but a place in the quarter-finals is likely to be as good as it gets.
Other gold medals available today
The final match of the men's singles table tennis event is scheduled for 3.30pm.
In Judo, The women's 78kg final starts at 4pm, while the men's 100kg gold medal match takes place at 4.10pm.
