The British Olympic Association have confirmed that Team GB triple jumper Phillips Idowu will compete in tomorrow's qualifiers, despite initial fitness fears.
The 33-year-old was an original doubt for the Games after suffering what was believed to be a nerve problem with his left knee.
Despite delaying the process of issuing his medical records to the BOA, it does appear that the Brit will contest for a medal this week.
"He's set to compete. All is good," a BOA spokesman told BBC Sport.
Phillips will begin his triple jump qualifiers at 10.45am tomorrow.
