Mo Farah feels that his coach will tell him to concentrate on track events rather than marathons.

Double Olympic champion Mo Farah believes that his coach Alberto Salazar will advise himself to continue concentrating on track events.

Britain's Farah has made it public knowledge that he would like to run the London Marathon in the near future.

However, Farah expects that his form in the 5000m and 10,000m at the Olympics this summer will lead Salazar to tell him that his future remains inside the stadium.

"I'm not sure about next year but I do want to run the London Marathon. I am quite excited about it, the crowd, it would be amazing," said Farah.

"It's an option but I have not talked to Alberto or Ricky (Simms, agent). I believe Alberto will probably say it's too early for the road, keep up the track. Things are going well and as an athlete you want to be able to collect as many medals as possible throughout your career. I want to keep going now.

"To be a legend like Usain Bolt you have to go from track, world records, the marathon; there is lots of stuff to be done and I don't consider myself to be a legend or anything like that."

Farah has already confirmed that he will compete in the Great North Run on Sunday, September 16.
