Adam Gemili equals personal best to win 200m gold

British sprinter Adam Gemili matches his personal best to win gold in the men's 200m event at the European Championships in Zurich.

Adam Gemili cruised to victory in the men's 200m final at the European Championships in Zurich this evening, matching his personal best time.

The British sprinter completed the race in 19.98s to finish comfortably ahead of France's Christophe Lemaitre, who took silver.

The 20 year old already has a bronze from these championships in the 100m event.

The result takes Britain back to the top of the medal table above France.
