South African sprinter Oscar Pistorius has said that he has no regrets over taking part in the Olympic Games.
Pistorius, nicknamed The Blade Runner, became the first amputee sprinter to compete at an Olympics.
Despite missing out qualifying for the 400m final, Pistorius says that being part of London 2012 was fantastic.
He told BBC Sport: "I don't have any regrets. Just being out here in front of this crowd with 70,000 people, it felt like 170,000 people. It's been an unbeliveable experience for me.
"It's really humbling to know how much support I have. Just standing here in the starting blocks, hearing the crowd I was just standing, smiling, getting cramps in my cheeks.
"I have always been an athlete who wants to push myself as hard as I can and I look up to the guys I run against. I'll be shouting during the final, but I won't know who to shout for because they are all true gentlemen."
Pistorius will continue his Olympic adventure later this week, competing for South Africa in the 4x400m relay.
