Christine Ohuruogu believes that her performance at the Anniversary Games will provide a good indication of her form ahead of the World Athletics Championships.
Ohuruogu triumphed at the 2013 Games before winning gold in Moscow, and the 400m runner has admitted that she is hopeful of similar preparation ahead of the defence of her title in Beijing.
The 30-year-old is quoted by BBC Sport as saying: "It will be a good indication of where I am. If things aren't right, I'll have time to fix them.
"London in 2013 was a real decider for me going into Moscow. The event was really good, especially because I won.
"You've got tens of thousands of people watching, so it will be a really big nice send-off into the World Championships."
Mo Farah, Jessica Ennis-Hill and Greg Rutherford have also announced that they will feature at the event in July.
