Lord Sebastian Coe has confirmed that he is planning to stand to become the next chairman of the British Olympic Association.
The 55-year-old was one of the leading figures behind the recent Olympics and Paralympics in London, events for which he received a lot of praise.
The BOA are in need of a new chairperson following the decision of Lord Moynihan to step down a year early in order to give his replacement enough time to prepare for the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi.
Reports have claimed that Coe is hoping to combine the role with the IAAF presidency.
