Jamaica's team doctor confirms that Usain Bolt will be fully fit for London 2012.

Usain Bolt has been declared fully fit for the Olympics by Jamaica's team doctor.

Track team physician Winston Dawes dispelled any fears that the 100m and 200m champion could miss the Games with a back injury.

"He's back fully," he told BBC Sport. "He has been training very, very hard and his performance is on track. We expect he'll be fully fit by the time the Olympics come around.

"He had some slight cramps [in his legs]. He had had an accident before, so that might have shaken him up a little."

Dawes went on to say that audiences will witness "something fantastic" from Bolt and his compatriot Yohan Blake as both sprinters are "at the top of their game".

The 100m preliminaries commence on August 4.
