Australian pop queen Kylie Minogue has been announced as the headline act for the closing ceremony of the Commonwealth Games on Sunday.
Rumours were rife weeks ago that the seven-time UK chart topper would be performing at Hampden Park and she has now been confirmed as part of the bill.
Scottish favourites Lulu, Deacon Blue and Dougie Maclean are among the other acts that will be celebrating the conclusion of the Glasgow Games.
"We are delighted to reveal the glittering lineup of Scottish and international talent joining us in Hampden Park for the closing ceremony," David Grevemberg, chief executive of Glasgow 2014, told reporters.
"There is so much for so many people to celebrate. Our Commonwealth athletes have been inspirational and the people of Glasgow and Scotland will give them and all our visitors a great send-off. Never has a city or its people been prouder or more welcoming."
Minogue's Australia are currently joint top of the Commonwealth Games medals table.
