Mo Farah doubtful for Commonwealth Games

Double Olympic champion Mo Farah admits that he is a doubt for the upcoming Commonwealth Games.

Double Olympic champion Mo Farah has revealed that he could miss the upcoming Commonwealth Games.

The 31-year-old was forced to pull out of last weekend's Glasgow Grand Prix due to abdominal pains.

Farah is due to compete in both the 5,000m and 10,000m when the Games get underway in Glasgow later this month.

When asked whether he will be fit enough for the event, Farah told BBC Sport: "It's a good question. I don't know.

"Hopefully I should be good, but I kind of missed a bit of training, and obviously I pulled out of the weekend's Grand Prix. So I'm actually just going to get back into full training, and then we'll see."

The Commonwealth Games start with the opening ceremony on July 23.
