Team GB's Naomi Folkard comes from behind to progress in women's individual archery.

Team GB's Naomi Folkard has progressed in the women's individual archery after she came back to defeat Russian Kristina Timofeeva 6-4.

Timofeeva capitalised on a six by Folkard on her opening shot to take the opening 27-24.

However, Folkard hit back in the second set with a total score of 26, which was enough to level the match as Timofeeva fell short by one point.

The Russian soon shook off the second set disappointment to score a maximum of 30 in the third set to regain the lead in the match.

The match continued its topsy-turvy nature in the next set when Folkard hit scores of 10, 9 and 9 to take the match into a deciding set.

Timofeeva could only score seven with her opening shot, and Folkard capitalised on her poor score to qualify for the next round.
