Washington Redskins tight end Fred Davis believes that his side's offense will be oriented around his position next season.

Washington Redskins tight end Fred Davis believes that he and his colleagues in his position are going to have a lot of work in the upcoming season.

Mike Shanahan's side reached the playoffs last season with rookie quarterback Robert Griffin III, but they were defeated in the Wildcard round by the Seattle Seahawks.

Davis told The Roanoke Times: "I feel like a lot of plays, the tight end might be the number one or two target sometimes, [it is] very tight end friendly.

"I think it's all going to be shared. And I think that's the way championship teams win.

"When you've got one guy always getting all the balls, it doesn't mean they're winning or a good team. I'd rather it just be everybody making plays."

The Redskins open their pre-season campaign against the Tennessee Titans next week.
