The Washington Redskins have confirmed that Robert Griffin III suffered a dislocated ankle during the team's win over the Jacksonville Jaguars.
The quarterback collapsed in pain on the sideline in the first quarter of the game, bringing backup Kirk Cousins in to lead the NFC East side to a 41-10 victory.
Head coach Jay Gruden told reporters at his post-game press conference that the 2012 rookie of the year dislocated his ankle and will undergo further tests tomorrow to determine how long he will be out.
The team also revealed that wide receiver DeSean Jackson has a shoulder sprain, while running back Roy Helu has a quad problem, but both could return for their week-three game.
