Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Roddy White has claimed that his team should do all they can to secure the services of pass rusher Jadeveon Clowney during the NFL Draft in the spring.
White and the Falcons endured an injury-hit campaign which saw them limp to a 4-12 record, meaning that they will have sixth overall pick on May 8 in New York.
Veteran White took to his personal Twitter account to discuss the areas that he feels his side needs strengthening.
He said: "I would love for us to draft Jadeveon Clowney if he is available but if he isn't we should trade out and stockpile players got a lot of holes to fill.
"Clowney helps the O-line, they have to block him at practice. The Falcons are fine on offense as long as everyone is healthy for 16 games. Defense win championships so we need stops and turnovers."
Despite making just three sacks this season for the South Carolina Gamecocks, Clowney's reputation has grown over the last couple of years and is expected to be a top 10 pick.
