Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll is adamant that he wants running back Marshawn Lynch back at the club next season.
Reports have suggested that the Seahawks are prepared to move on from the 28-year-old at the end of the 2014 season, despite his continued productivity for Carroll's side.
However, the 63-year-old has revealed that the club are determined to keep Lynch in Seattle for the foreseeable future.
"He's under contract next year, we'd love to have him back," Carroll told USA Today. "There's no hesitation in us saying that and there never has been.
"We'd be thrilled to have him playing for us next year. We'll do everything to get that done."
Lynch has run for 813 yards this season along with nine touchdowns.
