Arizona Cardinals defeat Seattle Seahawks 17-10

The Arizona Cardinals edge out the Seattle Seahawks with a 17-10 win in the NFL.

The Arizona Cardinals have beaten the Seattle Seahawks 17-10 in their NFL encounter, thanks to some efficient play in the fourth quarter.

In what was a tame first quarter, there were no points scored for either side as both struggled to find their footing.

The second quarter was to produce a little more action, with the Seahawks taking a slender lead through a 27-yard field goal from Steven Hauschka.

The Cardinals responded with a kick of their own as Jay Feely produced from 39 yards out, leaving the score at 3-3 going into the break.

After half time, Feely kicked a 46-yard field goal to push the Cardinals into a 6-3 advantage with the teams headed for the fourth and final quarter.

Feely was on hand yet again at the start of the final quarter, adding another three points with a 26-yard field goal, before Zach Miller caught an 11-yard pass from Russell Wilson to give the Hawks a slender lead.

However, some good play from the Cardinals saw Michael Floyd catch a 31-yarder from Carson Palmer, with Rashard Mendenhall completing a run for a two-point conversion, leaving the final score at 17-10 to the Cardinals.
