Marshawn Lynch has reportedly been fined $50,000 (£30,448) for not speaking to the media during the 2013 regular season.
The Seattle Seahawks running back regularly avoids talking to reporters, previously claiming that it is "crazy" how much time some players spend with the media.
ESPN reports that the NFL handed the 27-year-old the fine this week for not making himself available after practices during the regular season.
The league's rules state that reporters must be given 45-minute access to players four days a week, as well as after games.
Lynch has 1,257 rushing yards, 316 receiving yards and 14 touchdowns in 2013.
