Seattle Seahawks defensive back Brandon Browner has denied reports that he is facing an eight-game ban for violating the NFL's policy on performance-enhancing drugs.
NFL Network reported that the 29-year-old will face the suspension due to a positive test for a banned substance for the second time in his career.
However, Browner has denied these allegations and wrote on Twitter: "I'm not facing suspension for PEDs, it's sad that the NFL is reporting this."
According to similar reports, Browner's teammate at the Seahawks, Walter Thurmond III, will be out for four games for the violation and will not appeal against the suspension.
The Seahawks are 10-1 in their season and hold the number one seed in the NFC playoff race.
