Colin Kaepernick: 'Super Bowl not a pressure situation'

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick is not concerned by extra pressure heading in to Sunday's Super Bowl.

Colin Kaepernick has said that there is no extra pressure heading in to this weekend's Super Bowl.

The San Francisco 49ers quarterback has started just nine games for the team since taking over from Alex Smith mid season.

The 25-year-old told reporters: "I've said this before. Pressure, I feel like, comes from lack of preparation.

"This isn't going to be a pressure situation, it is going to be a matter of going out there and performing physically.

"When I first started starting, I was just trying to do well and make sure we were winning games. Things have gone right while we have been playing. We're here."

The 49ers face the Baltimore Ravens in the Super Bowl at the Superdome in New Orleans on Sunday.
