Ahmad Brooks says that he will be able to play in the Super Bowl despite having a sprain in his shoulder.

Ahmad Brooks has revealed that he sprained his shoulder during the NFC Championship game last month.

The San Francisco 49ers linebacker has a grade one acromioclavicular joint sprain, which has resulted in him missing some practice time in the last week.

The 28-year-old sustained the injury towards the end of the 49ers' win over the Atlanta Falcons.

However, Brooks is sure that he will be fit to face the Baltimore Ravens in the Super Bowl this Sunday.

Brooks made 34 tackles and six-and-a-half sacks during the regular season.
