Marcus Lattimore has said that he is prepared to work hard after being drafted by the San Francisco 49ers.
The running back had been a top college prospect, but has undergone two major knee reconstructions in the last 18 months.
The 21-year-old told reporters: "Whatever is best for my career or future, I'm good with it.
"The 49ers and the coaches there, we'll come to a conclusion of what we should do. I'm just so fired up, I'm excited about everything and just ready to work hard."
The 49ers selected Lattimore in the fourth round of the draft with the 131st pick.
