The San Diego Chargers have announced that they have placed linebacker Larry English on injured reserve.
English sustained a pectoral injury during his side's defeat to the Denver Broncos on Sunday after sacking quarterback Peyton Manning.
The injury forced him off the field in the second quarter and he will now miss the rest of the campaign after the club placed him on season-ending IR.
The Chargers have filled his roster spot with linebacker Adrian Robinson.
