San Diego Chargers bring in Crezdon Butler

Free agent cornerback Crezdon Butler agrees to join the San Diego Chargers.

The San Diego Chargers have signed free agent cornerback Crezdon Butler, the team has announced.

The 26-year-old was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2010, and has since had spells with the Arizona Cardinals and Buffalo Bills.

The Chargers released defensive end Drake Nevis to make room for Butler on their active roster.

San Diego play the Tennessee Titans on Sunday.
