Ben Roethlisberger: 'Pittsburgh Steelers have eliminated turnovers'

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger says that eliminating turnovers has helped the team secure their first wins of the season.

Ben Roethlisberger has said that eliminating turnovers has helped the Pittsburgh Steelers secure their first victories of the 2013 NFL season.

The AFC North side have recorded back-to-back wins after losing their first four games of the campaign.

The quarterback told The Rich Eisen Project: "We were getting better every week. I know it wasn't showing on the win-loss column, but every week we were getting a little bit better.

"I think the biggest issue was offensively, we were just turning the ball over too much. And we eliminated that the last two weeks.

"It was great having him out there. I've always said being a balanced offense makes us the most dangerous. He's done a great job coming in, being a threat in the run game and he's done some good things in the pass game."

The Steelers face the Oakland Raiders on Sunday.
