Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has stated that he will not be considering retirement within the next couple of years.
The 32-year-old played every snap on offense last season, making it his first campaign with 16 regular-season starts since 2008.
Roethlisberger has two years left on his contract, and he is the third-longest serving player on the Steelers roster.
He said via ESPN: "I feel like I'm in great shape. I think I can get five, six, seven more years out of this arm and these legs.
"I hope a new contract gets done, as that's all that matters to me because I bleed black and gold."
Roethlisberger has led the Steelers to Super Bowl glory on two occasions during his 11-year association with the club.
