Mark Sanchez unaware of trade talk

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Mark Sanchez is adamant that he has heard nothing about rumours linking him with a trade to the St Louis Rams.

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Mark Sanchez has insisted that he has heard nothing about a potential trade away from the club.

The 27-year-old has been linked with a switch to the St Louis Rams - who lost starter Sam Bradford for the season - to reunite with former offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer.

"I think they would say something or my agent would say something," Sanchez told CSNPhilly.com. "If those people aren't talking to me about it, I seriously doubt it's happening."

Sanchez guided the New York Jets to back-to-back appearances in the AFC championship game in the 2009 and 2010 seasons during his five-year spell at Rex Ryan's side.
