Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Nick Foles has been added to the Pro Bowl roster as an alternate selection for the game in two weeks' time.
Foles will replace either New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady or Denver Broncos' Peyton Manning, pending on the result of the AFC Championship game between the two sides as players playing in the Super Bowl cannot feature in Hawaii.
The 24-year-old had an excellent season for the Eagles, throwing 27 touchdowns to just two interceptions after replacing Michael Vick as the starter for Chip Kelly's side.
Foles tied the NFL record for passing touchdowns in a single game, throwing seven against the Oakland Raiders.
