Charles Woodson: "I definitely plan on playing"

Oakland Raiders defensive back Charles Woodson reveals that he wants to continue playing in the NFL.

Oakland Raiders defensive back Charles Woodson has revealed that he wants to take his NFL career into a 17th season.

The 37-year-old is out of contract in March after returning to the Raiders on a one-year deal last season, and despite wishing to play on, he has ruled out featuring for another one of his former teams, the Green Bay Packers.

"I don't think that's going to happen," Woodson told ESPN. "I definitely plan on playing. But I think the Packers already have plenty of safeties."

Woodson recorded 97 tackles, two sacks, three forced fumbles and an interception in the 2013 season.
