Report: Marc Trestman to interview with Oakland Raiders

Former Chicago Bears head coach Marc Trestman will reportedly interview for the position of offensive coordinator with the Oakland Raiders.

Former Chicago Bears head coach Marc Trestman is reportedly set to interview for the vacant offensive coordinator position with the Oakland Raiders.

Trestman was fired by the Bears at the end of the regular season as his side finished with a 5-11 record, missing the post-season for the second straight year.

The Raiders are keen to speak with Trestman to boost their offense, which had struggles with rookie quarterback Derek Carr in the 2014 campaign, reports NFL Network.

The 59-year-old served as the club's offensive coordinator from 2001 to 2003, helping them reach the Super Bowl in the 2002 campaign.
