Terrelle Pryor has been confirmed as the starting quarterback for the Oakland Raiders on Sunday.
The 23-year-old replaces Carson Palmer, who sustained an injury in the Raiders' loss to the Carolina Panthers last weekend, while regular backup Matt Leinart will remain as the number two.
Leinart told The AP: "The competitor in me wants to play, wants to start, but I do understand that they need to evaluate him, and I get that.
"Obviously, you're not happy by any means, but at the same time, I'm a team player. I'm happy to help."
The Raiders face the San Diego Chargers tomorrow.
