The Oakland Raiders have confirmed that quarterback Terrelle Pryor is out of their clash with the Houston Texans, and that rookie Matt McGloin will start the game.
Pryor has been struggling with a knee injury for the past two weeks he picked up during his side's defeat to the Philadelphia Eagles.
The 24-year-old was limited physically last week in his team's defeat to the New York Giants and missed his side's practices this week.
Undrafted rookie McGloin will start in his place after winning the backup job this season over Matt Flynn, who was released by the club.
The Raiders are 3-6 going into their clash with the 2-7 Texans.
