Darrelle Revis blames both Geno Smith, Ikemefuna Enemkpali for punch incident

New York Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis says that he holds both Geno Smith and Ikemefuna Enemkpali responsible for the incident that left the quarterback with a broken jaw.

New York Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis has blamed both Geno Smith and Ikemefuna Enemkpali for the incident which left the quarterback with a broken jaw.

Smith and Enemkpali were involved in an argument over $600 (£385) owed to the linebacker in the club's locker room, which escalated and ended in the 24-year-old punching the quarterback, breaking his jaw.

The quarterback has been ruled out for up to 10 weeks, while Enemkpali was been released by the club.

"I hold both of them responsible," Revis told reporters.

"Just how it all played out at the end when you gather all the information, but at the same time, you gotta move forward. There's nothing really to harp on no more."

Revis moved back to the Jets in the off-season after winning the Super Bowl with the New England Patriots last season.
