The New York Jets have promoted Mike Goodson to their active roster following the end of his suspension.
The running back was unable to play in the opening four games of the 2013 NFL season for breaching the league's policy on performance enhancing drugs.
Head coach Rex Ryan told reporters: "I hope he plays on Monday. You expect a guy that, he's not getting full reps, he hasn't been getting full reps the entire week, and that's just because he's just coming back. But again, I hope he can contribute on Monday for us."
The 26-year-old played in 12 games for the Oakland Raiders last season, rushing for 221 yards.
The AFC East side face the Atlanta Falcons tomorrow night.
