New York Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz believes that he can serve a similar role to that of the Green Bay Packers' Randall Cobb in his side's offense.
The Giants hired Ben McAdoo from the Packers' staff to be their new offensive coordinator, and Cruz admits that he wants to be used in the same versatile way Cobb has been for Mike McCarthy's side.
"I do see myself as a Randall Cobb," Cruz told the New York Daily News. "Hopefully I can sneak in that backfield for a couple plays.
"I don't know how effective that will be. But we'll definitely see where it takes us. But we'll see. I'm excited to be all over the field this year."
The 27-year-old recorded 73 receptions for 998 yards along with four touchdowns in the 2013 season.
