New York Giants head coach Tom Coughlin has admitted that he was humbled by the speeches of the Pro Football Hall of Fame inductees on Saturday.

Several players and coaches, including Coughlin's old boss Bill Parcells, were inducted to the prestigious collection of greats at Canton, Ohio.

"When you listen to the honorees, their discussions are very much in recognition not only of their own ability, but all those who have contributed to their being in that spot," Coughlin told reporters.

"You're talking about someone who becomes more and more humble as he talks about this wonderful honor.

"That, to me, was huge because our game is the greatest game of all, but it takes 11 (players), OK. No one person, no one person does it all by himself."

Coughlin has guided his team to two Super Bowl wins in the last six years, beating the New England Patriots twice in the 2007 and 2011 seasons.
