Tom Coughlin critical of offensive showing against Indianapolis Colts

New York Giants coach Tom Coughlin is critical of his team's offensive showing as they rally back to beat the Indianapolis Colts 27-26 in a pre-season encounter.

New York Giants coach Tom Coughlin has admitted that he was left frustrated following another lukewarm performance as his team overcame the Indianapolis Colts 27-26 on Saturday.

Such was the poor position they found themselves in, the Giants didn't notch their first point until the fourth quarter, where they rallied back to claim a slender victory.

"We are realists, and looking at what looked to be a very poor performance in the first half with the 1s that didn't really get a lot better once the 2s came in," said Coughlin said, according to ESPN.com.

"It wasn't impressive at all. We didn't get a whole lot done. There's no production. There's nothing to look at from a production standpoint."

The new NFL season is due to get underway in September.
