New York Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz has admitted that he is desperate to return to training ahead of the new season.
The 28-year-old suffered a serious knee injury last October and missed most of the season. However, he is set to return for week one of the 2015 campaign.
He told the Giants' official website: "Yeah, I am itching. I can't lie. I am itching. I am running routes and feeling good, but I know there is still a process and I am still a little ways away in terms of strength-wise and things like that.
"It feels good and watching those guys run routes and catch balls, I am definitely itching to get back out there."
Cruz has 24 touchdowns in 55 games.
