New Orleans Saints tight end Jimmy Graham was forced to limp out of his side's 30-27 defeat to the New England Patriots last night with a leg injury.
Graham initially picked up the problem in the fourth quarter but returned to the field with his lower left leg taped up as he attempted to continue.
His reintroduction was brief, however, as he limped off with trainers before the end of the match to watch Patriots quarterback Tom Brady throw the winning touchdown pass with just five seconds remaining.
The defeat, which was the Saints' first of the season, also saw Graham finish the match without a catch to his name for the first time since his rookie year of 2010.
The Saints are still awaiting news on how serious the injury is, although Graham will have extra time to recover as they have their bye week coming up.
