Jimmy Graham: 'Injury has been a battle all season'

New Orleans Saints tight end Jimmy Graham concedes that he hasn't been able to find his best form this season due to his persistent shoulder injury.

New Orleans Saints tight end Jimmy Graham has admitted that his shoulder injury has prevented him from playing to the best of his ability this season.

The 28-year-old sustained the injury early in the campaign, and has never been able to discover his best form for the Saints as his production has been limited in his 15 games while Sean Payton's men missed out on the playoffs.

Graham told reporters: "I'm not going to make any excuses for it. I think everyone plays hurt in this league. That's just a part of the job.

"[It] was a battle every game. That's just how it is when you're trying to stay healthy."

Graham has recorded 79 receptions for 835 yards and 10 touchdowns this season.
