New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman has hit back at his side's critics following their Super Bowl triumph over the Seattle Seahawks.
The Patriots won the Vince Lombardi Trophy for the fourth time in their history after rallying from a 10-point deficit in the fourth quarter to claim a 28-24 victory.
Edelman has slammed pundits who suggested that the Patriots were a poor team after their loss to the Kansas City Chiefs and also maligned the club during the 'deflategate' scandal.
"It's a bunch of noise out there," Edelman told WEEI-FM. "Everyone can keep on talking, but we're going to be raising that trophy up in front of all those people in New England and it's going to be a great time and they can kiss that."
Edelman recorded nine receptions for 109 yards and a touchdown in his side's Super Bowl win.
