Report: Aaron Dobson placed on physically unable to perform list

New England Patriots wide receiver Aaron Dobson is played on the physically unable to perform list ahead of his side's training camp, according to a report.

New England Patriots wide receiver Aaron Dobson will start his side's training camp on the physically unable to perform list, according to a report.

The 22-year-old underwent surgery on his foot on the off-season after sustaining a stress fracture during the 2013 campaign.

Defensive tackle Tommy Kelly, cornerback Alfonzo Dennard and receivers Matthew Slater and Jeremy Gallon were also placed on the PUP list and as a result will not be able to practise until they are removed, reports ESPN.

Rob Gronkowski and Vince Wilfork avoided the list and are now expected to participate in practice when the Patriots begin training camp later this week.
