The New England Patriots release cornerback Marquice Cole for the third time this season.

The New England Patriots have released cornerback Marquice Cole.

The 29-year-old has featured for the AFC East side on and off throughout the season, with this being the third time that he has been cut from their active roster.

Cole has made 10 tackles and an interception for the Patriots in 2013.

He has also had spells with the Oakland Raiders and New York Jets since entering the NFL in 2007.
