Christian Ponder has insisted that he will be "ready to go" against the Seattle Seahawks this weekend.
The Minnesota Vikings quarterback dislocated his shoulder during the team's 34-27 win over the Washington Redskins last week, but he was able to make the majority of the first-team snaps during yesterday's practice.
The 25-year-old told reporters: "My expectation is that I'm feeling good and I'll be ready to go, but again, that's coach's call and I'm hoping it's me.
"Earlier in the week I felt it a little bit. Today not at all. Not one time did I think that it's bothering me."
Head coach Leslie Frazier added: "I know he's worked hard with the work the trainers have given him to try and get back, but this one of those injuries that takes time, but I know that's part of it is thinking about what he accomplished in our last ballgame and want to build on that. He's working as hard as he can to get on the field."
Ponder has 1,246 passing yards and five touchdowns so far this season.
