Leslie Frazier: 'Speculation has been a distraction'

Minnesota Vikings head coach Leslie Frazier feels that speculation over his future at the club has been distracting for his players in recent weeks.

Minnesota Vikings head coach Leslie Frazier has admitted that speculation over his future at the club has been a distraction for him and his players.

The Vikings have struggled this season, losing 10 games following their defeat to the Cincinnati Bengals, 11 months after finishing 10-6 and making the NFC playoffs.

"It's like the elephant in the room," Frazier told reporters. "I just felt like I needed to get that addressed. Looking back at it, I probably should have dealt with it a week ago.

"I don't want those guys to be distracted. I want them to focus on the opponent. I felt like we got a little distracted last week. I want to make sure that we're all focused on one thing and that's winning this game against Detroit."

Minnesota finish their campaign against the Detroit Lions on Sunday.
