Ryan Tannehill expects to remain Miami Dolphins' starting quarterback

Miami Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill reveals that he expects to remain as the team's starter for this week's game against the Oakland Raiders.

Ryan Tannehill has insisted that he expects to be taking the first snap when the Miami Dolphins take on the Oakland Raiders at Wembley Stadium this weekend.

The quarterback has struggled early in the 2014 NFL season, completing barely half of his passes, throwing two interceptions and being sacked nine times in the opening three games.

The 26-year-old told reporters: "[I'm] taking the first snap of the game and playing the game.

"Does it feel good to deal with all the distractions that have been created because of the situation? No, but that's life.

"You face distractions, you face adversity in life and you have to be able to handle it, you have to be able to fight through it and become a better man and become a better player because of it. So here we are and we're getting ready to play."

The Dolphins have won just one of their three games so far this season.
