Miami Dolphins owner Stephen Ross has announced a new initiative aimed at improving locker room culture.
The culture in the Dolphins' locker room has come under intense scrutiny recently after it was revealed that Richie Incognito and two other offensive linemen regularly harassed and verbally abused teammate Jonathan Martin.
However, Ross is keen to prevent a repeat of such a situation and has teamed up with NYU and the Jackie Robinson Foundation in an effort to eliminate racial slurs, harassment and bullying in sports.
"How could anybody be against it is really what it comes down to at the end of the day. This is for the good of everybody," Ross told reporters.
"I think having this taking place and having so much publicity around it allows us to be heard and hopefully have an impact."
Ross is due to meet Martin "soon" for the first time since the NFL report into the bullying scandal was released.
