Miami Dolphins offensive tackle Jonathan Martin has decided not to return to the team amid allegations of player harassment and bullying, according to a report.

Martin took a leave of absence from the Dolphins two weeks ago after reports surfaced that he had been the victim of abuse from teammate Richie Incognito.

Incognito, who has since been suspended from the team, admitted to using racial slurs and threats towards Martin and his family, but claims that Martin sent him similar messages and that such exchanges were indicative of the nature of their relationship.

Dolphins owner Stephen Ross has outlined his plans to meet with Martin face to face regarding the unfolding situation, but Martin is not interested in return to the franchise, according to ESPN.

The 24-year-old is reportedly keen to play in the NFL again but not with the Dolphins having spent an "unbearable" season with them.

Without Martin and Incognito, the Dolphins fell to a 22-19 defeat at the hands of the previously winless Tampa Bay Buccaneers last night.
