Report: Richie Incognito interview cancelled

A number of interviews into the bullying scandal at the Miami Dolphins are cancelled, according to reports.

A number of interviews with Miami Dolphins players over the alleged bullying scandal at the team have been cancelled, according to reports.

Suspended guard Richie Incognito was due to be interviewed by the NFL's special investigator Ted Wells this week, as were 11 other Dolphins players as the league looks to get to the bottom of allegations of player harassment at the club.

Jonathan Martin left the team earlier this season claiming that he had been bullied on a daily basis by teammates, with Incognito emerging as the main perpetrator of the alleged abuse.

Wells was due to interview the players on a number of issues including text messages sent between the teammates, the relationship between Martin and Incognito and any alternative reasons that Martin may have had for leaving the team.

Incognito has already met with Wells on one occasion, while Martin has had two interviews with the investigator, whose report is not expected to be completed until next year.

Incognito was initially suspended for four games without pay by the Dolphins, but both parties have now reached an agreement that sees him remain suspended while being paid until the investigation is over.
