Dannell Ellerbe has signed a five-year contract with the Miami Dolphins after becoming a free agent yesterday.
The linebacker had reached the end of his deal with the Baltimore Ravens, having spent four seasons with the current Super Bowl champions.
The 27-year-old, who recorded 4.5 sacks and one forced fumble during 2012, is reportedly set to earn $35m (£23.4m) under the new contract.
Ellerbe is the third Ravens player to move to another NFL side this week, following Anquan Boldin's trade to the San Francisco 49ers, and Paul Kruger's new contract with the Cleveland Browns.
