Miami Dolphins' Reshad Jones: 'I want to be the best safety'

Reshad Jones targets becoming the best safety in the NFL.

Miami Dolphins safety Reshad Jones has insisted that he wants to become the best player in the NFL in his position.

Jones, who has seen talks over a new contract stall in recent months, said that his focus now is on improving on his impressive last season.

"I can only get better," Jones told the team's official website. "I got the ball rolling in the right direction and I just told myself I want to be recognized as one of the premiere safeties in this league.

"I think last year I went out and showed that to the world and I just want to keep it going."

Jones has made 182 combined tackles in his three years at the Dolphins.
